The U.S. Coast Guard
Auxiliary offers Boating Skills & Seamanship.
The 3 day course is free, but there is a $30 charge for the course
materials, which will become the property of the student.
Students who successfully complete this course will receive a
certificate. (Some insurance companies give discounts.) Young
people, ages 12 to 17, must have this certificate to operate a boat
or a personal watercraft un-accompanied by an adult.
About Boating Safely is a one day course. There is a $20
charge for course materials, and the course is 8 hours (from 8:00 am
- 5:00 pm).

This is our 2nd class of the year. Sign up NOW before the
boating season begins! Boating Safely should be all boaters'
priority.
